Wet roads are dangerous for a variety of reasons, hydroplaning chief among them. Hitting a spot of water at speed can instantly cause you to lose control, as we've seen before. This clip comes to us from Wellington, Florida, and is one of the more incredible hydroplaning crashes we've seen. The F-150 in it skids off the road and goes airborne, smashing into a brick and wood sign advertising a neighborhood. The sign shatters but the truck somehow doesn't fly over or through it.

We're thinking the massive tree behind the sign helped keep this accident relatively in check. Hopefully the occupants of the F-150 escaped with nothing more than a serious fright.
