Vaughn Gittin Jr. is again earning his RTR title of chief fun-haver in the latest video from Ford Performance. The new short film features Gittin Jr. on the Faroe Islands northwest of Scotland in the best thing he's ever built, the 1,400-hp Mustang Mach-E 1400, obviously based on the Ford Mustang Mach-E EV.

This one has a slightly different flare than some of the previous clips, as Gittin Jr. brings the goofiness that he's known for in real life to the video. It's complete with cute Faroe Island citizens, plenty of sheep and one mean-looking goat in a staring contest.

The video features insanely beautiful and sweeping drone shots of the island, the perfect roads and the quiet waterfalls. It definitely has a more Gymkhana/Wes Anderson short film vibe. We have to thank technology for the drone shots, which would have been impossible for less than a million dollars a few decades ago.

The Mach-E 1400, for the uninitiated, features three front electric motors and four rear for a total of seven power units. Torque can be split evenly or sent all to one axle, preferably the rear for a video like this. At 160 mph, it makes 2,300 pounds of downforce for stability at high speeds. It features a liquid-cooled 56.8-kWh battery, which aids it in repeated runs.

We've ridden shotgun in it before, and it's mind blowing.

"I am so fortunate that we [Ford and RTR] have been able to push the boundaries of electric vehicles and do something so new that has never been done before," said Gittin Jr. He continued, "Pioneering electric-battery power in the Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 has been a dream for me, and it is our collective hope that all the learnings and fun that has been experienced will have a trickle-down effect in future road cars that consumers purchase. I am very excited about these future technologies and all which battery electric power has to offer!"
