There are few, if any, better ways to start your day than by watching this new video from the Petrolicious crew. It features a rare Ferrari 288 GTO owning mountain pavement and sounding like a Prancing Horse gone mad.The 288 GTO is the rare homologation of the 308 GTB that's prized by collectors. 272 were produced and are worth a few million today. With its 2.8-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 400 hp and 366 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual (ah, analog goodness at its very best), the 288 GTO has become a much sought after Ferrari.

Can you blame rich collectors for wanting one? We can't. But what we love about this video is that its owner actually, well, drives it, and drives it hard. What a shame it'd be for it to be at a permanent standstill.
