But this Bad boy is one of a few, if any, vehicles that will take you directly from your crib to your yacht a mile offshore.
It’s not the first but Watercar’s Panther is certainly the newest kid on the amphibian block. A project that started as a fun challenge back in 1999 has culminated in what the company describes as the world’s fastest amphibious vehicle. The promotional video shows the awesome creation in action, being used to pick up hot dates from their homes before taking to the water for a spot of marlin fishing. Based on a Jeep CJ8, at the Panther’s heart lies a Honda-sourced 3.7-liter V6 that powers the wheels and a Panther Jet for marine propulsion.
It can top 80 mph on land and 44 mph on water, with the transition from land cruiser to water craft taking a mere 15 seconds. If you like what you read, check out the vid filled with plenty of bikini-clad models you will presumably be able to pick up if you purchase this awesome two-faced contraption.
