Talk about getting lucky.
Say what you will about rallying, but the drivers involved race on some of the most treacherous roads known to man. Unlike other types of racing, rally drivers don't have barricades or runoff areas where they can stop they're vehicles from careening off the track. What we have here is French rallyist Robert Consani in the last round of the ERC in Zin, Czech Repblic. Unfortunately, Consani cut a right-handed corner a little too tightly and this is the aftermath of a split second mistake.
Incredibly, Consani and his co-driver manage to walk away from the crash, which goes to show how safety features in a racing vehicle actually save lives. You'll want to watch this crash a couple of times.
