911 GT3 RS Mega Gallery Showcases All 114 Paint To Sample Colors

Design / 11 Comments

Yep, you heard that right. There are 114 colors available from the Paint To Sample range!

If you want a perfect track-focused sports car, it's hard to do better than the recently-revealed Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The latest 992 GT3 RS packs a naturally aspirated flat-six engine, wailing its way to 518 horsepower at a 9,000-rpm redline. Much like the 996-generation GT3 RS, Porsche showed off the new car in a plain shade of white paired with some outrageous Pyro Red wheels. If the Pyro Red isn't your style, the wheels also come in Black, Silver, Dark Silver, Indigo Blue, or Satin Neodyme (bronze).

We enjoy the white with colored wheel combination, but there are so many other great colors available on the GT3 RS. Porsche offers four standard and five optional "special" colors, but if you're willing to shell out $18,240, you can get one of 114 different Paint To Sample hues from the company's illustrious history.

Be sure to click on the gallery at the bottom of this article to look at the full palette of all 114 available Paint To Sample colors for your viewing pleasure. Let us know in the comments which one is your favorite!

The Greens

Green is making a comeback as a popular color for sports cars in 2022, and Porsche has some stellar options. We ruled out any that looked too close to Python Green, since that color is available for just $4,220 and we'd prefer a hue that looks more unique. Our favorites include Acid Green, Auratium Green, British Racing Green, Lighter Green, Mint Green, and Racing Green Metallic. Whether you want something outlandish or more restrained, there's a solid green available.

The Blues

Much like with the greens, we wanted to rule out any colors that look too similar to Shark Blue, which is also available for $4,220 and will likely be optioned on many GT3 RS allocations. There is a ton of variety here, ranging from stealthy dark shades to bright pastels. Some of our favorites include Aqua Blue Metallic, Cobalt Blue Metallic, Gemini Metallic, Oslo Blue, Riviera Blue, and Turquoise Blue.

The Offbeat Colors

The Paint To Sample program offers owners the unique opportunity to make their wildest dreams a reality. Many Porsche customers see this as an opportunity to pick the most the most oddball color possible in the hopes that no one else picks the same one, and their car is rarer. If this is your goal, we recommend the following options that almost no one will likely choose: Chestnut Brown Metallic, Creme White, Geyser Grey Metallic, Ivory, and Lime Gold Metallic.

The Boring Colors

Nearly any color of the Rennbow at their fingertips, and some Porsche buyers will still choose the most boring shades that may as well be the no-cost black or white. The PTS roster includes a ton of whites, blacks, silvers and greys, like the ones pictured below. If you are going to play it safe with one of these options, at least go for the wheels in an exciting color.

Our Personal Favorites

Before you leave us a comment with your personal favorites, we have picked out seven colors that we'd order on our GT3 RS if we had an unlimited budget. Our favorites include Bahama Yellow, Gulf Orange, Mexico Blue, Peru Red, Palladium Metallic, Ruby Star, and Viola Purple Metallic. But if we had to narrow it down to just one, we'd go with Ruby Star. It's a classic color that first debuted on the 964-generation, and we love how unique it looks. And yes, we know it's the same shade as Barney the dinosaur.
