Audi is currently working on the next-generation R8 supercar, which will likely debut sometime in 2015. In the meantime we can only speculate how exactly it'll look. A young transportation design student named Sebastian Kunz has taken a crack at it. His 2015 R8 rendering takes a lot of its styling influence from the Nanuk Concept Audi unveiled at Frankfurt earlier this month. With its edgier styling in hand, the overall dimensions of the current R8 don't look to be all that different, but there's definitely some added width at the rear.

Previous reports have claimed the next R8 will feature Matrix LED headlights, shorter side blades and a double diffuser. Both the 4.2-liter V8 and 5.2-liter V10 engines will return and will be more powerful than before, and yet fuel efficiency will improve. Overall, we like what we see with this rendering, and we wouldn't be shocked if the actual production version looked something like this. But we'll have to wait at least another year or so to find out.
