Jeep has been up to some pretty exciting stuff lately, but now it seems like they're finally ready to blow everyone's lid off by releasing the long-awaited Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which has been cooked up a-la-Hellcat. We've heard this car coming from a long way off, after all a Grand Cherokee with a 6.2-liter Hemi V8 Hellcat pushing 707 horsepower is pretty hard to keep quiet. This is especially true when FCA has mentioned just how insane the power will be.

Jeep said that a 0-60 mph launch will happen in 2.7-seconds thanks to an all-wheel drive system and a diet that will save 500 pounds of weight by using aluminum components, two-piece brake rotors, and more. Guess when this mind-warping Jeep will unearth itself? In a recent interview by Detroit News with Jeep CEO Mike Manley, it was revealed that Jeep will use next week's New York Auto Show to share some "very exciting" news about the Grand Cherokee. Since the Trackhawk has been in the pipeline for some time, we expect to see the SUV with supercar-beating performance make its "grand" unveiling there and hit the dealerships before the end of 2017.
