We're Now Officially Obsessed With The New Ford GT

And its twin-turbo V6, too.

From the moment we first laid eyes on it at Detroit last January, it was immediately clear that Ford had something special going with its all-new GT supercar. Sure, it may have been an advanced prototype at the time, but not long after its debut the endurance racing, Audi and Porsche Le Mans killer version was unveiled and it’s absolutely stunning. But not everyone, us included, was fully convinced a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 could handle the required job. Shouldn’t there at least be a V8 shoved in there?

We opted instead to give Ford the benefit of the doubt, and we’re sure as hell glad we did. Ford Performance just released this video of some GT endurance racing goodness and we’re now obsessed by the thing. Just watching and listening to the sound of that engine on the dynamometer did the trick.
