California tuners West Coast Customs have just begun the second season of their reality TV show on Velocity. The first task on their premier show involved taking Black Eyed Peas' singer Will.I.Am's 1958 Chevy Corvette and restoring it with all the accoutrements that come with a 2008 Corvette. Dubbed the Vette.I.Am, the restoration was incredibly thorough. They created a bespoke hand-fabricated front-end and reupholstered the interior from a 2008 Corvette.

They even put in an integrated touch screen computer system. The rebuild sits on a set of Colorado Customs 'white wall' rims wrapped in Continental tires. "Will.I.Am and I share a passion for creativity and he approached me with a new project that he envisioned, and he knew we were the best in the business. Working with Will and his creativity is exciting and inspiring," said Ryan Friedlinghaus, founder and CEO of West Coast Customs. The restored classic '58 Chevy also gets some "boom-boom-pow" from WCC's custom sound system.
