The American auto industry has its share of moments of glory, but also quite a few flops, particularly in the dark decades of the 1980s and 90s. Here to put a spotlight on these dark days, The Fast Lane Car has decided to name the top-10 modern crappy American cars. These include the Pontiac Aztec, Ford Pinto/Mustang 2, Chevy Citation, anything made by AMC, GEO Metro, Chevy Aveo, the full range of Chrysler K cars, Cadillac Semoran and a couple of very special first place entries.
