Just over a week ago we brought you a few spy images of the new 2016 Toyota Prius without any camo. Of course we just had to make fun of it somehow, and we have no intention of stopping now. Sure, it's pretty ugly, but we do give Toyota some credit for at least making a bold styling attempt. Still though, after viewing these two latest completely undisguised leaked images of the '16 Prius, we're still less than impressed. Set for an official debut on September 8, the new Prius has clearly been influenced by the Mirai hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle.

One major example are those radical-looking headlights. We also know it's built on Toyota's New Global Architecture that'll also underpin the next gen Camry, so expect the Prius to be a bit larger than the outgoing model, but also lighter. Still though, going by what we see here, the 2016 Prius looks too much like a bloated animal. We're thinking sea monkeys.
