"Never say never."
We're all just going to have to move on and accept the fact that Jeremy Clarkson won't return to Top Gear. Nor will his two co-hosts, Richard Hammond and James May. All three are rumored to be on the verge of signing for a new show of their own, supposedly on Netflix. So what about Top Gear itself? Who will be its new host? BBC radio host Chris Evans is apparently now keen on getting the gig, as evidenced by his recent, shall we call it, live on air audition.
He even managed to get the Stig (well, kind of) and Lewis Hamilton on board. The car chosen for a lap on the Top Gear test track? The LaFerrari.
Oh, and Jeremy Clarkson is still adamant that Evans won't get his old job, despite some vocal advice.
