If the rumors are true, the new Toyota Supra may have officially been named. A registered patent filed by Toyota has revealed that the company has a trademark filed for the name "S-FR." However, this does this not necessarily confirm that S-FR will be the Supra's official name once it is released. It is possible that this could just be a project name and that a different name will be featured on the finished product.

Whatever the final name choice for the new Supra, we do know that the vehicle will likely be something incredible. The next generation of Toyota's most famous performance car will be the result of extensive collaboration between Toyota and German automaker BMW. As if this incredible collaboration wasn't enough to whet the appetite of Supra fan boys, the Supra concept vehicle looks absolutely stunning. Although it is yet to be confirmed what the official specs are for the new Supra, it is likely that the car will feature a turbocharged 2.5-liter V6 hybrid engine. So what do you think of "S-FR" as a potential name for the new Toyota Supra?
