What Do You Think Of The New 2016 Corvette Stingray Upgrades?

You might want to hold off on a 2015 model after reading this.

Before you rush out and buy a 2015 Corvette Stingray, check out the upgrades Chevy has just announced for the 2016 model year. Three new design packages have been added, and will be offered to 3LT coupes and convertibles. The Twilight Blue Design pack features new paint jobs of Shark Gray, Blade Silver, Arctic White, or Night Race Blue, combined with black or gray brake calipers, Shark Gray vents, “polished motorsport” wheels, a rear spoiler, and a Twilight Blue interior. A red, white and blue tri-stripe is an optional extra.

If red is more your thing, the Spice Red Design package includes a Spice Red interior and a Long Beach Red Metallic Tintcoat, while the Jet Black Suede Design pack boasts satin black wheels, red brake calipers, satin-black hood extractor, and a Jet Black suede microfiber interior with carbon-fiber trim. The 2016 Stingray will also come with a new flat-bottom steering wheel, new alloys, an optional carbon-fiber hood, and new colors including Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat. A “carbon-flash badge delete” gets rid of the chrome bar on the front grille if that bothers you.
