Diversity on the drag strip.
On the rare occasion that a body of water and a straight strip of road coexist, it must be taken advantage of. That's exactly what these guys did using a 1994 Toyota Supra, a 2015 Mitsubishi Evolution X, and a Hydrostream Venom powerboat. With the Supra’s 3.0-liter inline-six making 320 horsepower, the Mitsubishi emitting 291 horsepower from a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, and the 2.5-liter Mercury engine on the powerboat making up to 280 horsepower, this race gets interesting.
Despite the boat weighing around 1,000 pounds and having a much better power to weight ratio, it also has to battle the resistance from the water while the cars do not.
