Question is whether anyone would even consider buying one.
The small coupe segment has lately been a tough one. Gone is the coupe variant of the Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200. Heck, Chevrolet doesn’t even make a Cruz coupe. Yes, there are still the Honda Civic and Kia Forte coupes, but still- buyers today often prefer sedan variants. It makes complete sense; a little more money buys you more car – and an extra set of doors. But then again, if a coupe is done right, it may not be a hard sell after all. Perhaps the newly facelifted Ford Focus would look good minus its rear doors.
Rendering artist Theophilus Chin was pondering that very thought, so he cooked up a couple of images showcasing what a production Focus coupe could look like. And in all honesty, it ain’t that bad. The previous generation Focus was also sold as a hard top convertible in Europe, so why not do something similar again?
