Last month we witnessed a Lamborghini Gallardo that went so fast down the drag strip it actually caught on fire. The Gallardo LP570-4 that was modified to have a total output of 2,005 horsepower set a new record in the mile sprint, clocking it in 23.892 seconds at 250 mph. Then it caught on fire. Fortunately the supercar wasn't completely ruined but there was some damage to the rear end. And now you can see what its driver saw (and smelled) while going 250 mph just as the Lambo began to go up in flames.

The smoke-filled cabin was a very clear indicator that something was very wrong.
