The dust is beginning to settle after all of the drama surrounding Jeremy Clarkson being fired from Top Gear. It's been a few months and people are moving on to further celebrity gossip. Fortunately, the now former Top Gear trio of Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will continue with a new show on Amazon Prime, premiering sometime next year with a fat budget. While Jezza has spoken about the ordeal, The Hamster hasn't, until this recent interview with The Times.

The interviewer pressed Hammond repeatedly about spilling further details about the drama that unfolded behind the scenes immediately after Jezza punched that associate Top Gear producer. Hammond's response: "I'm reluctant to go there. Let's move on. Every single party learnt and I'm not going to rattle anybody's chains." When asked how he felt personally, he only conceded that this whole thing has brought him and his mates closer together. They're now "on the best footing we've ever been to go ahead now and do what we do best." But what about his feelings on leaving Top Gear itself? "It's a show. I've made other shows that have come and gone..."
