What's So Special About This Auction-Bound 1,244-HP Hennessey Venom?

For Sale

It's something to do with color.

Only 20 units of the Hennessey Venom GT were produced in 2014, and this is one of them. Believed to be the only white example in the US, it has just 745 miles on the clock, which was apparently all the owner could stomach driving because it is headed for auction with Constantine & Pletcher this weekend. With a 1,244-hp 7.0-liter twin-turbo V8 powering an carbon-fiber-wrapped aluminum chassis, the Venom GT is one of the fastest cars on the planet with a 0-60 mph time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 270.49 mph.

Estimates suggest a bid of between $700,000 and $900,000 should be enough to drive the car away, just make sure your balls are as big as your wallet before giving the auctioneer a discrete nod.
