Hands down, the Jaguar F-Type Coupe R and its roadster sibling, the V8 S, are two of the best sounding cars you can buy today. The loud crackle of that supercharged 5.0-liter V8 is literally almost beyond words to describe; you just have to experience it. But you know how to make that V8 sound even better? Drive that F-Type through tunnels at night. Why at night? Because those tunnels are empty and, duh, you can drive fast. But perhaps the best part is the augmented growl of that V8.
