There's been a rumor here and there claiming that Ferrari wants to return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Porsche did, and won overall victory only last month. Whether Ferrari returns to La Sarthe or not is still up in the air, but its old rival is very much returning. Ford has already announced it'll race its stunning new GT in 2016 at Le Mans as well as a few other major endurance races. Promising the best power-to-weight ratio and a state-of-the-art suspension, the 2016 GT is no doubt the real deal.

But if Ferrari isn't so far planning to compete, how is this new Ford GT giving the Italian marquee the middle finger, as stated in the title? Because Ford is back at Le Mans and Ferrari isn't. Call it a "come try and get us" type of dare. And now our friends at XCAR are here with an up close look at the 2016 Ford GT.
