Tuners these days love the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Why? Not only does it look good to begin with, but it's also highly tunable. And while we like what many tuners to under the hood, the exterior mods, are often questionable. Wheelsandmore engineers have recently developed a two-step program for the car's 6.2-liter V8. The first stage involves and ECU remap that increases output to 610 hp and 685 lb-ft of torque.

For the second and more powerful stage, output increases to 624 hp and 690 lb-ft of torque thanks to a high-end, hand-made exhaust unit contending manifolds, sport catalysts, and volume optimized mufflers with digitally programmable exhaust valves. All told, it has an electronically limited top speed of 202 mph. The tuner is also offering owners their 6Sporz 3-piece forged 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels. Other add-ons include ultra-lightweight aluminum alloys and a hydraulically adjustable level control system.

Overall, it's a solid technical package underneath, but the SLS AMG is already beautiful in stock form. So why bother messing with a good thing?
