Meanwhile, Mustang sales are soaring.
Ever since it was unveiled last month, many anxious Chevrolet Camaro fans have been waiting to know when they can place an order for the 2016 model. The sixth-generation Camaro, while its styling looks familiar, is all-new from the inside out. Needless to say, there’s been plenty of hype about it. However, Chevrolet still hasn’t announced when exactly the order books will open. We do know that production will happen at the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Michigan, as opposed to Ontario, Canada, where the previous Camaro was built.
According to a rumor coming from CamaroNews, an inside source claims that 2016 Camaro order books will open sometime on August 13, and mass production itself will begin on August 22. Another GM source previously stated that the new Camaro will be available in "late 2015." We’ll know soon enough when those order books open.
