The all-new 2015 Ford Mustang is coming to showrooms in the very near future. However, we have yet to receive word from Ford regarding an official production start date. Ford has previously stated the Mustang will be on dealer lots this fall, which means production would need to begin sometime this summer. And now the Mustang6 forum claims to have uncovered the exact dates for when Mustang coupe and convertible production will commence.

N/A

The forum has just posted a scanned dealership document that specifically states that the Mustang hardtop will enter production on July 14, and the convertible on September 15. Both will be built at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan. However, Autoblog is claiming that this first batch of cars will likely be pre-production examples used for media test drives and initial dealer training. Actual customer cars won't begin production until September 9. Customer convertible models will start production on October 27. However, Ford refuses to confirm any of those dates. More than likely, Ford will make an official announcement in the very near future.
