Smart is going ahead with plans for a new special edition model designed for the U.S. and European markets. The Smart ForTwo Iceshine Edition exhibits new exterior paint and a unique interior for a truly bespoke and eco-friendly ride. Available now for pre-ordering in Europe and for the U.S. this summer, the Iceshine Edition features LED daytime running lights, white alloy wheels with a new three-spoke design and special badging.

The interior features black leather seats with white fabric backrests and solidly-contrasting white stitching. The gauge-surrounds have also been painted white to contrast with the black dash. An optional Brabus steering wheel and satnav system can also be ordered on the special edition. European customers, apart from being able to order the Iceshine Edition early, get their choice between either an Azure Blue or White exterior finish. In the U.S., customers are stuck with only the White exterior finish.

To make things fair, the Iceshine Edition in the U.S. market will come with power steering and heated seats as standard. The Smart ForTwo Iceshine Edition is limited to 1,800 units worldwide while 300 units will be allocated to the U.S.
