Who Knew The Jaguar XF Would Make Such An Excellent Tornado Chase Vehicle?

Natural Disaster

But can you still hear the exhaust note over strong gale force winds?

European luxury sedans are desirable cars for most of the civilized population, but little did we know that they could double as handy tools for hardcore weather-chasing professionals. To prove that point, Jaguar puts professional storm chaser “Tornado" Tim Baker behind the wheel of an XF. Using the Internet-connected infotainment system and the large touchscreen, Baker moseys around the Midwest through intense rains, rock-sized hail, and strong wind, tracking storms as they form to warn citizens.

Bet the engineers didn’t add any aerodynamic elements to help the XF navigate the deadly winds.
