Who Says Lotus Can't Build Serious Cars Anymore?

Track Car

The 3-Eleven just set a blistering time around the Nurburgring.

The Lotus3-Eleven was supposed to be the fastest and most powerful production Lotus evercreated. Luckily, the purpose-built track car just proved that the Britishautomaker still has what it takes by setting an unofficial time of 7 minutesand 6 seconds around the Nurburgring. Interestingly, Lotus admitted to notbeing able to set a clear lap time in the vehicle and combined the best sectortimes from two different laps. So is the 3-Eleven really capable of a seven-minutelap or is Lotus fooling everyone?Eitherway, it’s good to see Lotus making light track cars.
