Why Does The BMW i8 Look So Damn Good As A Race Car?

Rendering

Maybe because we know it's never gonna happen.

Rendering artist supremo Jon Sibal has been up to his old tricks again, conjuring up an image of what a racing variant of the BMW i8 could look like. Styled in the mould of a GT3 racer, the BMW i8 track car features a widebody kit with a massive rear wing, and new front bumper with an integrated carbon-fiber lip. The combined output of the production i8 is 362 hp. A GT3 racer would be more powerful and a lot lighter, so we imagine this plug-in hybrid sprinting to 62 mph in less than four seconds.
