Cars like the BAC Mono are rare and few. Its competitors include the Ariel Atom and the KTM X-Bow, and really not much else. With a power to weigh ratio of 520-hp per ton (more than the Bugatti Veyron) and newly available carbon ceramic brakes, the BAC Mono is a car that only seems to be getting better with age. It may only have a 2.3-liter naturally aspirated inline four-cylinder engine with 280 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque, but it'll still blast from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. It's nice to have a curb weight of just 1,190.5 lbs.

BAC claims the Mono is about as close to a Formula 3 race car that you can legally drive on public roads. And yes, driving this one day is something that should be added to your bucket list. It's truly a road experience like no other.
