While we're looking forward to the next Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Callaway has given everyone one major reason not to wait with its performance package. The new Camaro SS gets a 6.2-liter V8 that's good for 455 hp, but Callaway didn't think that was enough. For an affordable $54,290, which includes the price of a base Camaro SS, the company is offering enthusiasts the Callaway Camaro SC600 package. The package turns the Camaro SS into a "600+ horsepower street-legal muscle car."

To get this type of performance out of the muscle car, Callaway adds a supercharger, a triple-element intercooler, floor mats, keychains and requisite badges that all point towards Callaway's touches. The performance package doesn't add any chassis, brake, or suspension modifications. The massive supercharger sticks through the Camaro's custom hood, which exposes it to "outside ambient airflow." In addition to the enormous power increase, the package comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty. Production of the hopped up muscle car begins this quarter, so why wait for the upcoming ZL1?
