Widebody SLS From Brabus

Tuning / Comments

Brabus has long been the last word in aftermarket modifications for Mercedes-Benz cars, and the new Brabus Widestar is actually fairly restrained by their standards. Many of the cars which Brabus gets their hands on end up with horsepower numbers which the makers of ocean liners would consider adequate, but the Widestar only gets a 10hp bump. Of course, the 6.2-liter V8 in the SLS is already packing such huge power numbers that it doesn't need much more.

What Brabus has done instead is to make the SLS lighter and wider. New carbon fiber body panels and interior trim pieces trim some of the weight, and a new titanium exhaust system weighs in at just 12 pounds. An extra 20mm of width at the back allows for lightweight Brabus Monoblock F Platinum Edition wheels, and a new Bilstein suspension kit allows for lowering by as much as 30mm.
