Gives her prized 40th Anniversary Corvette away to make up for the one lost by National Corvette Museum.
As we’ve all heard before, when tragedy strikes - people come together to help each other. Apparently, that's also the case with automotive tragedies. When Kentucky resident Lynda Patterson heard about the sinkhole that erupted under the National Corvette Museum in February, she immediately decided to donate her late husband’s prized 40th Anniversary Ruby Red Corvette to the museum, replacing an identical one that was heavily damaged in the collapse.
‘Ruby’ was delivered to the museum to a crowd of cheering museum employees, while Patterson parted from her treasured ride with tears of joy and sadness.
