Huracan

The Lambo Huracan is a great supercar; it has great looks, goes like hell and its 610 hp 5.2-liter V10 engine creates the best noise ever. We think that it's a proper Lamborghini and a proper successor to the Gallardo. Now that the Huracan Spyder, which debuted at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, is on the way we were waiting to see if Lamborghini would do anything else with its baby supercar. Now Autocar is reporting that a rear-wheel drive version of the Huracan will debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Gallardo received the rear-wheel-drive treatment, so why not the Huracan? The rear-wheel drive Gallardo was sold slightly less expensive compared to the base Gallardo but don't expect the RWD Huracan to receive the same treatment. Rather, a more expensive, lighter and more extreme variant is a more likely possibility. The rear-wheel-drive Gallardo was also sold as a limited edition of only 250 units so we expect Lamborghini to do the same thing with the new Huracan. Of course this is only a rumor for now. The 2015 LA Auto Show is coming soon, so we should know sooner than later if a rear-wheel drive Huracan is fact or fiction.
