Will Smith puts the 2020 Porsche 911 through its paces in his latest movie, 'Bad Boys For Life,' which is the third entry in the Bad Boys franchise. Smith's character drives a brand-new Carrera S in the film in a nod to the 1995 original film where Smith chases an AC Cobra in a 964-generation 911 Turbo. In a tie-in for the new movie, Porsche loaned Smith a car to surprise Lyft passengers with in Miami, Florida. But since the 911 is a bit too small to be an effective Lyft vehicle, Smith uses a 2020 Porsche Taycan.

The Taycan is Porsche's first all-electric car and of course, Smith isn't driving a run-of-the-mill version. This one is the Taycan Turbo S, which produces 750 hp and 774 lb-ft of torque with launch control. The result is 0-60 mph in just 2.6 seconds.

Bad Boys For Lyft begins with real rideshare customers who were simply told they were getting the chance to test out "new technology." These passengers get the surprise of a lifetime when they discover Will Smith is their Lyft driver in a $187,610 Porsche Taycan Turbo S. Most of them are understandably more excited to see a Hollywood A-list celebrity than the new electric Porsche, with one rider even video chatting his girlfriend in excitement.

But that excitement quickly turns into terror as Smith exercises the Taycan's 750 hp electric motors while encouraging his passengers to shout out quotes from the Bad Boys movies. As you can expect if you have ever seen Bad Boys, there are plenty of expletives that are bleeped out. Bad Boys for life is now in theaters and although the Taycan doesn't feature in the movie, a post-credit scene does open an opportunity for a fourth film where we could see Smith pilot Porsche's latest electric model.
