One of the most interesting unveilings at last month's Detroit Auto Show was this jaw-dropping concept from Korean automaker, Kia. The gorgeous GT4 drew a lot of buzz at the show. Even though it was presented as a concept car, pre-reveal leaks from Kia said: "It's not coming soon, it's coming now." According to a TopSpeed report, these same officials are now saying the show-stopping concept car may become a showroom reality as early as the final quarter of this year.

While the all-yellow concept Stinger was shown in Detroit with a 2.0-liter, 315-horsepower four-cylinder turbo, we expect the production car to employ the Optima SX Turbo's 2.0-liter engine, which makes 274 hp in the sedan. With additional tweaks, Kia could probably milk the engine for an additional 10-15 horses, making a 290 hp production model very realistic. While the interior is still being worked on, Kia insiders say the exterior will remain virtually identical to the NAIAA model - vertical LED headlights and all.
