AMG E63 Wagon

AMG has 40 years of expertise under its belt in tuning Mercedes-Benz vehicles, but some customers require even further customization. Fortunately there is no shortage of Mercedes tuners out there, and one of our favorites is Wimmer Rennsporttechnik. Wimmer's latest project takes on the C63 AMG wagon and adds 167 horsepower to the already forceful 6.3-liter V8, bringing output up from 457 horsepower to an absolutely bonkers 624.

To get there, Wimmer RS has fitted upgraded cylinder heads, modified throttle body, larger fuel pump, sport catalysts and camshafts, optimized intake manifolds, ECU remap and a stainless-steel exhaust system. The Solingen-based tuner has also added a set of 19-inch BBS wheels wrapped in Dunlop tires. KW Automotive lent their expertise in modifying the suspension with their own Club Sport setup, while a Drexler limited slip differential has also been affixed to handle all the added muscle. The final product was wrapped in yellow Bruxsafol vinyl to make it stand out even further.
