With 650 HP, Is This G-Power X6 M Any More Attractive?

Tuning / 23 Comments

With this much power, you might never need to look at the exterior.

As one of the most powerful SUVs in the world and one of BMW's most potent production cars, the X6 M has never been lagging in the modern horsepower wars. The problem, as we all know, is that body it comes in. But perhaps haters would be more willing to ignore that strange butt, assuming it arrived with even more power and performance abilities? Meet the G-Power X6 M, which has just been unveiled with 650 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque. Its speed limit has been removed and it is said to reach up to 186 mph (300 km/h).

It comes with a choice of the G-Power Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power module, or the Bi-Tronik 2 V1 ECU remap. The power module enables some form of fuel economy, as it remains inactive until the throttle has been fully engaged. Though acceleration times haven't been published, we assume this will be one fast car. But speed comes at a price, with the mods costing €4,960 including the top speed limiter removal. But as you'll be paying over $100K for the X6 M, just consider this another tick on the options list. Throw in a set of Hurricane RR forged wheels and high-tech aircraft aluminum rims, and this might just be an X6 worth driving.
