Woman's Acid-Attacked Corvette Stingray Looks Tragic

Owner has no idea who would do this; offers reward.

Renee Hughes, the Hoover, Alabama resident who woke up one morning to find that her 2014 C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray had been attacked by acid, says she has no idea who could have done this her car. So much so, that she is offering a reward for any information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the vandal. The pictures from Alabama offer a gruesome glimpse into what one person can do to another person's prized possession.

Hughes' initial Facebook campaign to track down the perpetrator has produced further interest, with local news channels picking up the story and Chevrolet dealers pitching in to raise the reward. With the reason for the attack still unknown, all we have are these sad pictures of the current state of Hughes' ride.
