According to Drag Times, this quarter-mile run by a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale is the quickest by any stock Gallardo ever. The drag race sees the lightweight, 570-hp Lambo come up against a BMW M4 – itself powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six delivering substantially more than the 425 hp a stock M4 will make thanks to an engine tune. Completing the quarter-mile in 11.1 seconds @ 132 mph, the eagled-eye amongst you will notice the rare Gallardo is missing its large rear wing.
We're not sure how much this really helped with achieving the record time, or whether this nullifies the run. Either way, it's a pretty impressive sprint down the tarmac.
