The Toyota Hilux is a truck sold pretty much everywhere apart from the US. Since its inception, the Japanese truck has built up a reputation for being one of the toughest in the world. Interior upgrade specialist Carlex Design, has dived straight into the deep end then, choosing the Hilux as its maiden project for its newly created Pickup Design division. As the name suggests, the Polish aftermarket firm's latest venture focuses on pickups, and the Hillux is the first to be restyled under the new brand.

Dubbed the "Toyota Hilly," the rugged ute has received a unique body kit with a selection of offroad modifications and a handcrafted interior Carlex is best known for. The cusom body parts include new front and rear bumpers, a roof spoiler, arch extensions, sills, real lamp insets, and a hood cover. Lazer grille lights, bespoke decal, a new exhaust system and a set of 18-inch Black Rhino Razorback alloys wrapped in BF Goodrich All Terrain tires round off the new look, while Pedders full suspension lift-kit gives the Hillux a broader range of abilities both on and off road.

Inside, hand-stitched leather adorns the steering wheel, seats and cabin, while optional goodies include soundproof doors, a soft-close trunk, a new sound system and chrome trim. Carlex also offers an off-road pack that adds features such as front and rear shock absorbers, roof lights and an engine cover.
