World's Weirdest Dragster Running a Mostly Stock 4.2-Liter Audi V8 Kicks Ass

We're guessing this is the fastest a car with this engine in it has ever run the quarter mile.

You're about to see a dragster run the quarter mile in 6.82 seconds at 200 mph. That isn't so remarkable in itself, but the engine powering this is a 4.2-liter V8 out of an Audi. It's been turbocharged, but most of the parts are stock. In what is probably the last form of motorsports where displacement is still such an important feature, this was a very unusual choice. But we love it, and we would like nothing more than to see more of it.

About 5.5 seconds into this run, the car actually blew a head gasket. Because, you know, it was a stock head gasket.
