There has never been a better time to be a car collector than now. Multi-million dollar car collections are nothing new in 2020, and it's not strange to see massive collections going up for sale all at once. Collections such as yoga billionaire Bikram Choudhury's contain everything from classic Rolls-Royce Phantoms, to rare Ford Mustang Convertibles, and the recent sale of a $44 million collection shows that there is still a massive appetite for bulk sales of collectors cars. Curated, a specialist in vintage supercars, has now listed a unique collection of 1980s superheroes that is sure to attract a lot of attention.

The single-owner collection offers five vehicles for sale individually, and forms part of 'The Time Capsule Collection'. The first car on offer is a meticulously maintained Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC AMG which was purchased in 1987. It features its original black paint, AMG 6.0 4V engine, and classic Penta-wheels. The second car on offer is a low-mileage 1988 Lamborghini Jalpa which is believed to be the last Jalpa produced for North America. The car still features its original Pirelli P7R tires and shows only 3,200 miles on the clock. Third in line is a 1990 Lamborghini LM002 America which is number one of only sixty produced and is finished in Bianco Perlato paint. The car still has its factory plastic seats cover and shows only 1,200 original miles.

Possibly the most iconic car in the lineup is the 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th which has just over 2,600 miles and still has a new car smell according to the seller. The final piece of the collection is the classic 1991 Lotus Esprit X180R. This specific car is number one of twenty and is a road-legal homologation car for Lotus to compete in the IMSA Supercar Championship. "These outstanding cars represent some of the most iconic Automobiles of the 1980s and 1990s in arguably the best condition and preservation we have seen," said John Temerian of Curated.
