Chevrolet has confirmed the all-new Corvette Z06 will debut this fall with a superb-sounding flat-plane crank V8 and a widebody. If, however, you already own a C8 Corvette Stingray and want to give the mid-engine sports car some extra visual flair, Sigala Designs has created the "world's first true widebody C8."

Dubbed the C8RR, the widebody kit consists of 32 pieces that make the C8 Corvette look like a supercar. Sigala Designs previewed the C8RR in render designs back in May, and it looks even better in real life. Available in fiberglass, carbon fiber, or a combination of both materials, the C8RR kit includes a new hood with integrated carbon fiber vents.

A pronounced front lip and extended front bumper give the C8 Corvette a more ferocious face while extending the length of the sports car.

The body kit also widens the fenders and extends the side skirts and side splitters. According to Sigala Designs, these extensions widen the C8 Corvette by an extra three inches on both sides. Dominating the rear is a massive high-rise wing and a prominent diffuser with center-mounted exhaust pipes. Sigala Designs is also planning to lower the ride height, but the suspension upgrades were not ready in time for the C8RR's world debut.

Sigala Designs is already accepting pre-orders for the C8RR, which will be available this fall. Pricing for the full fiberglass kit starts at $14,995, while the carbon fiber version will set you back $24,995. At an extra cost, Sigala Designs can also fit larger 20x11.5-inch wheels wrapped in 305/25/20 tires or forged 20x13 wheels with 355/25/21 and 375/25/21 tires.

Since the C8RR body kit is cosmetic only, the powertrain has been left stock, so the 6.2-liter V8 engine still produces 490 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. If you want more power, Hennessey Performance is working on a 1,200-hp performance package for the C8 Corvette Stingray.
