Hyundai is still in the process of building its new luxury brand, called Genesis. The Equus will now be called the Genesis G90 and the Genesis will now be called the G80. The Genesis brand is also set to receive two SUVs, a sports car, and a BMW 3 Series rival. Basically Hyundai wants these Genesis cars to be like Lexus is to Toyota. In order to entice customers, Genesis cars will come with a five-year warranty as well as a 10-year 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. This warranty includes "Roadside Concierge" for flat tires, dead batteries, and lock-outs.

Genesis cars will also come with connected services on an app that allow owners to remotely start the car, lock or unlock the doors, and set the climate control. Another benefit for these cars is a three-year, 36,000-mile maintenance and valet program. Maintenance will be complimentary and offer free loaners similar to the program offered by Lincoln. This service might not be a game-changer, but it should help prove to people that the Genesis brand is a real luxury brand.
