The Avanti by DC Design is India's very own home grown sports car, the first version of which made its initial appearance in 2014. The DC Avanti is powered by a rear mid-mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged Ford EcoBoost four-liter engine that produces approximately 253 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated with a six-speed manual transmission that helps the car achieve a 0 to 62 mph time of six seconds.

The DC Avanti is priced between $46,000 - $55,000 and is marketed towards India's young up-and-coming professionals. Understandably, there is no word on any plans to market the Indian sports car in the US or Europe's highly competitive auto markets. Nonetheless, DC Design is set to unveil two brand new liveries of the vehicle at the 2015 Autocar Performance Show in Mumbai, India. The car will appear in orange and gray.
