Two storms chasers in Texas could only watch helplessly as their car windshield was virtually destroyed by massive hailstones. Spencer Basoco and Lawrence McEwen were chasing a storm near Stephenville, Texas, when out of nowhere a massive hailstone caved in one side of their windshield. The pair sought cover but that proved to be fruitless as another massive hailstone slammed into the other side of the windshield seconds later.

Eventually the two did find a safe place to ride out the storm and tweet (watch the video). You hear all the time about massive hailstones killing cars but rarely, if ever, do you get to watch it happen. Truly terrifying.
