It looks like the company will be keeping that strategy going into next year, because the pricing on the 2016 GS F is loftier than you might expect. We now know that the minimum cost for a base GS F will be a rather hefty $84,440.That doesn't even include almost a grand for destination and processing fees. Yeah, a quoted price usually a thousand or two off the real deal.

So the lowest amount you could actually expect to pay would be $85,380 in the United States, higher than this model's predecessor. Lexus has placed the GS G in direct competition with heavyweights like the BMW M5 and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Can this performance and luxury-oriented competitor from Toyota keep up with the pack? Starting with the engine, we know that the GS F will boast the same 5.0-liter V8 that can be found in the RC F. The aforementioned power plant translates to almost 470 hp at 7,100 RPM.In the GS F, you'll also see 389 pound-feet of torque, and Lexus is confident that this model will be able to make a 0 to 60 mph run in just 4.4 seconds.
