This special vinyl wrap is the work of German outfit CCG Automotive who not only coated the 2009 model year Challenger SRT8 in electric green and carbon-white but also tinkered with the muscle car giving it 600hp. LSD wing doors were added and the front fenders were widened to make room for the 22-inch three-piece black Asanti alloys wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Zero Rollers. The Monschau-based tuner also increased power from 425 and 420hp to 600hp and 470lb-ft of torque.
This was done by increasing displacement of the 6.1-liter HEMI-V8 engine to 7.0-liters via a stroke kit, resulting in a new top speed of 186mph. The new engine is accompanied by a new exhaust system with a pair of square exhaust-pipes, while a PRINS Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) facility with two carburetors and a 120-liter tank has been installed to reel in the gas guzzler's economy. A new hood has been fitted to accommodate the bigger engine and a KW coilover suspension with adjustable damping that increases chassis performance.
As for the interior, CCG covered the seats, dashboard, headliner and all the cheap-looking plastic surfaces with neatly stitched Alcantara and leather in anthracite/black, contrasted with red seams and edge piping. Gadgets and sounds come courtesy of a new MyGIG hard disk audio system with radio, CD/DVD player and Touch screens, in addition to the SRT Option Package II with 13 Kicker SRT high-performance loudspeakers, a 322-watt Kicker SRT amplifier and a 200-watt Kicker SRT subwoofer.
