The BMW X6 is not a typical vehicle. In fact, BMW has actually created a new niche genre: the Sport Activity Coupe. It's not large enough to be an SUV, as it makes more of a fashion statement. Inside, the interior is well laid out with typical BMW amenities. The latest version of iDrive is also a standard feature. More importantly the X6 features a new system called Dynamic Performance Control, which works to regulate traction by spreading out drive forces across the rear axle.

Also available with a choice of diesel engine options, the X6 is proving there is a market for small, coupe-like performance utility vehicles. Just don't expect it to become the next minivan hauler.
